Singita Explore is a luxurious, private use tented camp set in a very large exclusive-use reserve in the northern Serengeti. You can reach it by air, either
on a scheduled flight or private charter. All flights land at the Singita airstrip, ten minutes from the lodge.
Owned by one of Africa's premium safari operators, this exclusive-use camp is made up of six one bedroom tents configured to suit each individual or group of travellers. One of the many alluring factors at Singita Explore is the private chef, private guide and camp staff who are there at your beck and call.
As a mobile camp game viewing at Singita Explore is of course a major highlight. Daily game drives with professional guides provide the perfect opportunity to get up close to incredible animals, and evening drives reveal the elusive magic of nocturnal Africa. Guests are likely to see a variety of wildlife, including cheetah, bearded wildebeest, bat eared fox, black rhino, Maasai giraffe, lion, elephant, buffalo and leopard. Their wellness philosophy takes personal rejuvenation to a level well beyond any pampering you’ve previously experienced. Perhaps Africa’s greatest beauty is its people and, as part of Singita’s deep commitment to community development, guests are invited to visit the nearby communities. Singita is recognised as one of Africa’s most influential collectors of wine, with an extensive cellar showcasing a premium selection of wines. Spend evenings around the campfire sampling local dishes, stargazing and listening to the sounds of the wild. Being an exclusive use experience, children of all ages are welcome, and activities are tailored to suit each family.
Designed to operate on a minimal amount of energy consumption ensuring as little impact on the environment as possible this is the perfect place to unwind and connect with nature. Limited phone signal is welcomed by guests who need to switch off in more ways than one!
