Sala's Camp
Sala’s Camp is an intimate, tranquil seven tent camp in Kenya's monumental Maasai Mara, perfectly positioned for the exhilarating wildebeest migration with breathtaking views over the Sand River and Serengeti.

Sala's Camp

Located in the untouched heart of Kenya's Maasai Mara, Sala’s Camp is perfectly positioned for spectacular views of Tanzania’s National Serengeti Park. Getting there is relatively uncomplicated with either a forty minute flight from Nairobi to the Keekorok airstrip, or a four hour drive from Nairobi by road.

This secluded tented camp nestled in indigenous forest shade, is rustic yet comfortable and suitably ticks the ‘glamping’ box. Seven canvas tents provide accommodation for a maximum of sixteen guests and are fit for families and couples or large groups at a reduced rate. Fresh, home cooked meals are prepared daily by resident chefs and served al fresco style under the natural light of the Serengeti stars. Sala prides itself in a high level of hospitality with the support of warm, happy staff that make it their mission to make guest feel at home!

Novel activities include bush breakfasts, lunch and suppers, hot air ballooning, bush volleyball, gym in a bag (it exists) and watercolour art sets! We can highly recommend their spa treatments, and the ‘elephant rub’ massage is a favourite after a tiring bush walk.

The combination of experienced 'sala spotter' and Maasai Mara scenery makes this the perfect place to watch the Great Migration unfold!
